It feels good! In addition to that good feeling, a consistent stretching program will produce large gains in flexibility and joint movement.
And since flexibility is a major component of fitness and good health, stretching should be an integral part of every workout program. As we age, our bodies naturally become less flexible and more prone to injury. With flexibility training, however, we can keep our bodies more limber and youthful!
